The Washburn Foundation is a tax-exempt non-profit organization dedicated to the support of Washburn High School by providing financial aid in the form of scholarships and grants in four areas:
- Student scholarships
- Curricular activities and projects
- Extra-curricular activities and projects
- Staff professional development.
- Through the scholarship division funds will be provided to students to help support post-high school education.
- The curricular fund will provide monies to teachers and staff to help fund classroom projects or technology not adequately covered by the supply or book budget.
- Through the extra-curricular division funds will be provided to activities in the arts, academics, and athletics to supplement the assigned budget.
- The professional development division will provide funds for teachers and staff to participate in approved activities to develop personal and professional growth.
