As you know, it’s a crucial time in Washburn’s history, as we need to make immediate improvements in our Media Center, buy state of the art books for our new IB program, and help our grossly under-funded Academics, Arts, and Athletics programs.

Sadly, government funding is simply not available to help.

But YOU can! And now, even the smallest contribution can make a huge impact.

The Washburn High School Foundation is ensuring that Washburn High School remains one of the top schools in the city and is a shining example of a top urban, public school.  No longer can wet rely solely on government funds if we want our children to experience the kind of quality education that will prepare them for then next stage of their life.

We must pull together, as a community, to continue the legacy of excellence at Washburn High School.
