The Board of the Washburn High School Foundation understands that and has been working hard to create a long-term vision for the Foundation and provide the Washburn community with a “Roadmap” for success organizationally, for our community partners and for everyone in the Miller family.
Our “Roadmap” starts with our mission, which is enduring. It declares our purpose as a organization, the philosophy behind our very existence and serves as the standard against which we weigh our actions and decisions.
To that end, the Board of the Foundation has worked tirelessly to explore the nature of our existence, the fabric of our organizational identity and the significance of the impact the Foundation wants to have in the lives of Washburn students.
Our Mission
The Washburn High School Foundation is dedicated to sustaining excellence at Washburn High School by cultivating a support network with alumni and the broader Washburn community.
We advocate for and actively connect financial and volunteer resources to the School in order to provide enriching experiences and an exceptional public education for its students, preparing them for a successful future.
We celebrate Washburn’s successes and create awareness of its needs and opportunities for growth in academics, the arts, and athletics.
