I did not grow up in Minneapolis, so I did not attend Washburn, but I live in the area now. I have two sons who plan to attend Washburn in the future; one is currently in 6th grade at Anthony and the other is in 3rd grade at Burroughs. I am interested in helping make Washburn the high school I would choose for my children, whether I lived in the Washburn attendance area or not. After 15 years as a graphic designer focusing on corporate identity and print design, I am currently a Language Arts teacher at South Education Center Alternative High School in Richfield (Intermediate District 287).
