Daniel,
I believe I remember you from Hockey, squirts through Bantam. I believe as 12 year olds we won the city MAHA championship and thanks to Noel Maanum we lost at the State tourney at St Mary’s Point and yet we scored 22 goals in 4 games. Just not in the right sequence. Joeys dad, the lawyer and Fred Lumbar and Noel Maanum bled through the wrists for you guys to succeed. Boyle went on to Princeton, Lumbar went to N Dak but dropped out, and now he is gone, died from Cancer about a year ago. Lumbar/Fred and I are having lunch within the next week.
I have a Love Hate relationship with Washburn, as I graduated from there then taught there from 1967 to 74 and 97 to 99. I was an inner city teacher/Mpls for 33 yrs, but was treated very poorly by a certain coalition of Asst/full principals. Funny how things turn out when a set of people do really nasty things to another. Two heart attacks within the year and the rest of the coalition seesm to have been gotten rid of,. Never really cared much after that, and never followed up to find out anything.
Anyway I believe I will attend the Oct 8th get together. I did attend my last class reunion. We have another coming up in 2010.
Perhaps you will be at the get together?!
ANON!
